Our team is built on a foundation of excellence, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to safety. Our unique culture encourages independent thinking, problem-solving, and ownership, giving our employees the opportunity to build rewarding careers while working on some of the nation's most impactful infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field every day, solving problems, working directly with crews and clients, and experiencing new project locations as assignments change. This position requires flexibility to relocate between project assignments as projects are completed. Paid travel and company-provided housing are included. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Know, understand, and actively demonstrate Clark Bros., Inc.'s mission, values, and commitment to safety. Serve as the primary field engineering support by working on-site daily alongside the Project Manager, Superintendent, and field crews. Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in the planning, execution, and successful completion of assigned construction projects. Prepare and maintain all project documentation including project setup, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, material tracking logs, meeting minutes, and other required documentation. Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of prime contract and subcontract change orders. Maintain regular communication with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved. Communicate with clients to understand their objectives while anticipating project needs and maintaining strong working relationships. Assist with project purchasing, procurement, and coordination of materials, equipment, and subcontractors while maintaining approved project budgets. Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure company-owned equipment and resources are utilized efficiently. Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and assist in developing recovery plans when necessary. Review plans and specifications regularly to ensure field work complies with contract documents and quality standards. Monitor project costs, labor productivity, equipment usage, and material quantities to support accurate cost forecasting and reporting. Assist with monthly cost reporting, production tracking, and project forecasting. Support project management in directing project staff, field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules and quality expectations. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier performance for quality, production, and contract compliance. Assist with preparing owner pay applications, project billings, and collection of payments as directed. Keep Project Management informed of project progress, upcoming work activities, manpower requirements, equipment needs, and potential risks. Assist in maintaining project records including daily reports, quantity tracking, photographs, correspondence, and project files. Participate in project meetings with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with Clark Bros., Inc. safety policies, OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, SWPPP requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Comply with all company Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) standards and safe work practices. Perform additional duties as assigned to support successful project delivery. Qualifications & Expectations Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time and relocate to project sites throughout the United States for extended project assignments.
