Forklift Operator
Location: Manteca, CA
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday with some Saturdays required
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
A busy winery in Manteca is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join their warehouse team. This position requires operating electric sit-down forklifts to safely move wine products throughout the facility. Overtime is currently available, and candidates must be willing to work extended hours and occasional weekends as needed.
Job Duties
- Operate electric sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks
- Move, stage, and transport wine products throughout the warehouse
- Stack and stage pallets 3–4 high
- Handle heavy pallet loads weighing up to 2,500 lbs.
- Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Recent sit-down forklift experience required
- Comfortable moving heavy loads and stacking pallets multiple levels high
- Ability to work 8+ hour shifts and overtime as needed
- Must be available for some weekend work
- Strong attention to safety and warehouse procedures
- Reliable attendance and work ethic
