Assistant Civil Process Clerk

This position is responsible for assisting with the processing of civil service papers, handling tax warrants and payments, accepting sales disclosures and payments for Sheriff Sales, reconciling the cash book and working with clients in-person and on the phone .
Duties
- Assists with entering civil service document information into the database.
- Sorts returns for mailing to defendant/attorney/court.
- Prints and mails tax warrants.
- Processes tax warrant payments and creates payment plans.
- Accepts Sheriff Sale payments, recording checks and sales disclosure.
- Reconciles all payments in the cash book.
- Answers questions/concerns from the public in-person, via telephone and email or redirects to the proper person, division or department.
- Regular job hours are Monday-Friday from 12:00pm - 4:00pm. Additional time during regular office hours (8:00am-4:00pm) will occur.
- Provides coverage when the Court Administrator is absent.
