Asset Management Associate

Position Summary & Overall Purpose The Asset Management Associate (AMA) role serves as the primary point of operational execution and success for the Lenox Asset Management department. Based on a team approach, AMAs daily duties include liaising with a variety of internal and external parties while maintaining a high level of organization and communication skills. Lenox Relationship Managers, the Sales Team, and end‑clients rely on the AMA to assist with new and existing business across managed portfolios, fixed annuities, and variable annuities. Duties Assist new clients through the new relationship onboarding process, identifying required paperwork for each account type. Communicate with clients, Relationship Managers, Asset Managers, vendors, and MMLISI during the onboarding process. Act as liaison between Asset Managers and other business partners to provide high‑quality, comprehensive client service. Identify complex requests regarding investment accounts, contributions and distributions, policies and procedures, and promptly escalate to leadership. Manage additional deposits and withdrawals from clients’ existing accounts, including wire transfers, ACATs, portfolio rebalancing, and redemption requests. Generate client proposals with guidance from Relationship Managers and/or Asset Managers. Update internal marketing platforms with timely marketing materials while maintaining an understanding of investment programs. Support the VP, Operations Manager with special projects as required. Develop relationships with Lenox vendors to facilitate account maintenance. Consistently use Lenox’s proprietary CRM (Mosaic) and other critical platforms, creating a functional understanding of system interactions. Serve as an operational resource to Relationship Managers conducting Asset Management business without direct Asset Manager involvement. Stay proficient in evolving broker‑dealer technology (Mosaic, A360, ProGen, WealthScape, Envestnet, Tamarac, RightBridge, Broadridge, DST Vision) and custodian technology (Charles Schwab, Fidelity, National Financial Services). Required Knowledge Solid understanding of equity and bond markets, trusts, and securities transfer laws. MOSAIC proficiency: basic tasking and arrays, plus advanced Net Flow Reporting and event process management. Required Skills / Abilities Maintain positive working relationships with clients and Relationship Managers. Learn systems and job procedures quickly, organizing workload efficiently to handle responsibilities. Anticipate problems, develop contingency plans, and identify underlying issues in complex situations. Required Behaviors / Attitudes Proactive self‑starter with the ability to think on feet. Education College Degree Experience 1–3 years of prior investment/client relationship/sales experience. Familiarity with sophisticated investment solutions for high‑net‑worth individuals and proficiency in developing asset allocation strategies. License Requirements Series 7 and 66 preferred.
