Quality Assurance Technician

Quality Assurance Technician Location: Watsonville, CA Schedule: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Full-Time Pay Rate: $22.00 – $28.00/hour Manpower is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Watsonville, CA to hire a Quality Assurance Technician . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on inspection experience who wants to grow within a quality engineering environment. What is the Job: Perform qualitative and quantitative testing on samples to ensure compliance with specifications Support manufacturing by assisting with quality issues, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives Create measurement programs for CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment and assist with fixturing design Ensure all gauges and measurement tools are calibrated and properly maintained Collect and analyze inspection data using statistical methods Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and review supplier inspection reports Assist Quality Engineers with follow‑up on non‑conformance issues and RMAs Support additional quality and manufacturing needs as required What is Needed: High school diploma or GED required (AA degree preferred) 1–3 years of experience in a quality, inspection, or manufacturing environment Experience using measurement tools and microscopes Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints Basic math and analytical skills, including compiling simple statistical reports Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures Work environment & physical requirements: Manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or standard industrial materials Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally walk, bend, or lift up to 50 lbs Strong visual acuity required, including close and color vision What's in it for Me: Competive benefits package Hands‑on role working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams Exposure to advanced inspection tools and processes, including CMM Opportunity to grow within a stable and specialized manufacturing environment If you’re detail‑oriented and enjoy working with precision measurement tools in a manufacturing setting, we’d love to connect with you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
