Pay Rate

Local: $35 - $40/hr
Traveler: $38 - $42/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced LVN/LPN to provide nursing care and clinical support in an outpatient OB/GYN setting.

Required Qualifications

• Active California LVN/LPN license required at the time of submission.

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience.

• Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN clinic experience.

• Current BLS certification.

• IV and blood withdrawal certification.

• Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture.

• First-time travelers accepted.

• No pending license accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient OB/GYN setting.

• Perform patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.

• Assist providers with gynecological examinations and outpatient procedures.

• Perform blood and laboratory draws and venipuncture as required.

• Initiate and maintain IV access and provide related patient care.

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures and provide appropriate post-procedure care.

• Educate patients regarding treatments, procedures, medications, and follow-up care.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to providers.

• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, medical assistants, and other healthcare team members.

• Maintain infection-control, patient-safety, and clinical compliance standards.

• Float to other OB/GYN outpatient clinics as required.

• Follow facility policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
