Job Title: Line CookStaten Island FerryHawks Stadium is seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook to support food service operations at one of Staten Island's premier sports and entertainment venues, located along the scenic waterfront. This role is critical in preparing and cooking high-quality menu items during games and events, ensuring fans receive timely and delicious food while maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.Essential FunctionsCook menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelinesPrepare, season, and cook food in a fast-paced environmentEnsure all food is stored, handled, and cooked safely following health regulationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of cooking and prep stationsMonitor inventory and communicate shortages or needs to supervisorsAssist with setup and breakdown of cooking stations before and after eventsWork closely with kitchen staff and runners to ensure timely service to concession standsFollow all sanitation, safety, and stadium operational proceduresAssist in training and mentoring less experienced kitchen staff as neededCollaborate with team members to maintain efficiency during high-volume periodsFollow all health, safety, and sanitation regulationsFollow all safety, sanitation, and stadium proceduresPractice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general position compliance trainingMaintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and managementAdheres to the Legends Global and venue company policiesComplete other duties assigned by managementAvailable to work none-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.
