Medical Receptionist/Front Desk

This position plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar. Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history. Process payments and maintain accurate financial records. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met. Qualifications: Previous experience as a medical receptionist, preferably in a pain management or healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
