As a Medical Assistant in a primary care practice, you will support the practice manager and care team by providing administrative and basic clinical assistance to adult patients. You will help with routine clinical procedures, patient intake, documentation, communication, and day-to-day exam room preparation.

Responsibilities

• Measure and document patient vital signs.
• Support vaccination and immunization administration.
• Perform routine EKG testing.
• Complete patient intake and collect relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Handle patient phone calls and provide clear communication.
• Prepare and restock exam rooms for patient visits.
• Provide patients with appropriate education and instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in clinical medical assisting.
• Medical assisting diploma or certificate.
• Ability to measure vital signs.
• Knowledge of immunization administration.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Understanding of clinical documentation.
• Strong patient communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
