Summary Description : This role focuses on selling outdoor furniture by delivering an exceptional customer experience, guiding customers to the right products for their space, and maintaining an inviting, well-merchandised showroom. This is a part-time position that will transition into a winter sales role.

Job Responsibilities :

• Full service assistance to customers from the beginning to the end of the sale, including writing the sale, reserving and scheduling the furniture for delivery, processing and ordering special order furniture, and ensuring that customers are satisfied with the furniture selected
• Leverage product knowledge to guide customers in selecting outdoor furniture that aligns with their space, style, and functional needs
• Maintaining the highest quality experience for our customers
• Assisting the Store Manager in preparing the showroom for special sales, store inventory, and maintaining the overall appearance of the showroom
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Abilities :

• Previous experience in sales and customer service preferred, but not required. Specialty retail preferred, but not required.
• Outgoing and upbeat personality.
• Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a motivated self-starter.
• High energy level.
• Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work well with a variety of personality types.
• Neat, clean, professional appearance.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and POS systems.
• Ability to lift moderate amount of weight and stand for extended periods of time.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task.

Budgeted range starts at: $18-$19/hour + Commission. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
