Job Title: Senior Backend Java Developer / Consultant (8–10 Years) In-person Interview Role Summary We are looking for a hands-on Senior Backend Java Developer with 8 to 10 years of professional experience to design, build, and scale robust backend applications and microservices. In this role, you will power our core financial platforms by developing secure, high-performance APIs and integrating complex data pipelines in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot . Build, maintain, and optimize distributed microservices architecture. Write clean, maintainable code, manage database interactions, and ensure high backend performance and reliability. Integrate enterprise applications with messaging systems (such as Kafka) and distributed caching layers (such as Redis). Collaborate closely with product managers, system architects, and QA teams within an Agile/Scrum framework. Participate in thorough code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers. Required Skills & Experience Experience: 8–10 years of professional software development experience focusing on enterprise backend systems. Core Skills: Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8+), multithreading, concurrency, and object-oriented design principles. Frameworks: Extensive, hands-on experience building RESTful microservices using Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem. Databases & Messaging: Solid relational database skills (SQL performance tuning) alongside experience with event-driven messaging tools (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). DevOps & Tooling: Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD automated deployment pipelines, and containerized cloud environments (Docker/Kubernetes). Methodologies: Proven track record working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
