Production Associate ( Tire Thrower)
Location: Canton | Pay: $17 per hour | Shift: 1st
Job SummaryAre you dependable and comfortable with physically demanding work? We’re seeking a Tire Thrower to join an automotive warehouse operation. In this role, you’ll repeatedly lift, move, roll, and position tires without rims. Occasional overtime may be required based on Ford production needs.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Tire Thrower, your core responsibilities will include:
- Tire Handling: Lift, move, roll, and position tires without rims.
- Material Placement: Sort and place tires in the correct staging or production areas.
- Production Support: Maintain a steady pace to keep materials moving efficiently.
In addition, you will inspect tires for visible damage, keep the work area organized, and follow all safety procedures.
What We’re Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, production, material handling, or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to repeatedly handle tires throughout a 10-hour shift.
- Reliable transportation and availability for the full shift and occasional overtime.
Skills:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform repetitive lifting, rolling, pushing, and pulling.
- Safety Awareness: Ability to work safely around forklifts, equipment, and other employees.
- Reliability: Strong attendance, punctuality, and commitment to the assigned schedule.
