Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales support, order management, or inside sales/sales support experience in a professional business environment.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, service, or distribution operations.
• Experience with order entry, data management, purchasing support, and customer account maintenance.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience working with ERP systems; Epicor experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This is a fully onsite position in a professional office setting. The role works closely with internal departments and customers in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Standard hours are Monday through Friday- 8am to 5pm, with training provided on company systems and processes.

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to serve as a key liaison between customers and internal departments. This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, maintaining account information, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the order lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and provide timely, professional support.
• Process customer orders, returns, and shipments while maintaining accurate records within the ERP system.
• Create and maintain customer accounts, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Accounting teams to resolve customer issues and support business objectives.
• Issue return authorizations and assist customers with documentation requirements.
• Monitor orders and proactively communicate updates to customers.
• Support purchasing and inventory-related activities to help meet customer delivery requirements.
• Assist with shipping documentation, including international shipment paperwork when required.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up and effective problem resolution.
• Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Perform general administrative duties and support other business functions as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Day 1 benefits start Medical - 2 options to choose from, one of them the company pays everything. Dental Vision Life and disability PTO - 16 days and 9 holidays Company performance and individual perf based bonuses could get merit bonus increase which would be 5-7% of salary 401k matching

This is a fully onsite position in Elk Grove Village,IL.
