Summary/ObjectiveThe Casino Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of casino public areas, restrooms, and property interiors to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and employees. This role performs routine cleaning, floor care, waste removal, restroom sanitation, and general housekeeping duties while following safety and operational standards. The Casino Housekeeper supports overall property presentation by maintaining assigned areas according to departmental expectations and guest service standards. Success in this role is demonstrated by consistently maintaining clean and orderly public spaces, supporting a safe environment, and contributing to a positive guest experience through reliable housekeeping services.Key AccountabilitiesCleaning & Property Appearance: Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of casino interiors and public areas by dusting and polishing furniture, cleaning fixtures, mirrors, counters, walls, ceilings, windows, carpets, curtains, and floors in accordance with department standards.Restroom Sanitation & Supply Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms while ensuring paper products, soap, and other restroom supplies are fully stocked and maintained throughout assigned shifts.Floor Care & Vacuuming: Perform floor maintenance duties including sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, vacuuming, and carpet care to maintain cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the property.Trash Removal & Recycling: Remove trash and recyclables by emptying containers and ashtrays, transporting waste materials to disposal areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout public and operational spaces.Equipment Operation & Basic Maintenance: Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively by following manufacturer guidelines and departmental procedures. Report or assist with minor equipment maintenance and replacement needs as appropriate.Inventory & Supply Monitoring: Monitor cleaning supply levels and report replacement or restocking needs to ensure uninterrupted housekeeping operations.Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following company procedures, properly handling cleaning chemicals, and reporting safety hazards or violations.Guest Service & Team Support: Provide courteous and professional service to guests and team members while supporting housekeeping operations and assisting with additional tasks as assigned by leadership..QualificationsGeneralMust be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Ute Mountain Ute Gaming Commission Non-Support LicenseMust be able and willing to work assigned schedules, including overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and special eventsMust demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read and understand cleaning equipment instructions and product safety informationMust demonstrate commitment to cleanliness, safety, and quality guest service.EducationHigh school diploma or GED preferred.ExperiencePrevious housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not requiredExperience in casino, hospitality, or commercial cleaning environments is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Knowledge of basic housekeeping procedures, sanitation practices, and cleaning chemical safetySkill in operating cleaning equipment and performing routine cleaning tasks efficientlyAbility to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards consistentlyAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentAbility to maintain professionalism and positive guest interaction throughout assigned shifts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
