Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

This is a day shift position following a 12x3 schedule.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated education unit. Travel nurses will care for mixed Med/Surg patients in a 30-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-6:1. While education is a component of the unit, the primary focus for travel nurses will be delivering direct patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during treatment.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in a level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work in a timely manner are essential.
