Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Ahealthcare organization in Cheshire, CT is seeking a Locums Family MedicinePhysician to provide outpatient primary care coverage while the organizationrecruits for a permanent provider. Theideal candidate will have strong primary care experience, excellent patientcommunication skills, and the ability to manage a broad range of familymedicine cases independently.

Compensation: $150 Per Hour

PositionDetails

• Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Lunch break built into the schedule
• No weekends required
• Average patient volume: 20 patients per day
• No procedures required

• Shared call rotation of approximately 1:8 weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform preventive care visits and annual wellness exams
• Manage medication refills, follow-up appointments, and chronic disease care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with clinical staff and care teams to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Active Connecticut medical license required
• Minimum of 5 years of Family Medicine experience preferred
• Strong outpatient clinical and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently in a busy primary care environment
