We are looking for an outstanding Data Architect with 10+ years of experience working with data and is passionate about technology & architecture, loves hands-on development and wants to build scalable, high performance state of the art platform that will help drive the FireEye Digital Transformation. The right candidate for this position has a proven track record as a principal consultant with superior technical skills, demonstrates an ability to lead small technical teams and can manage business/customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Enterprise Information and Data Architecture, Standards and Strategies
• Develop comprehensive strategy, roadmap and implementation plans around Governance, Information Lifecycle, Metadata Management, Master Data, Data Integration, Security and associated change management
• Lead multiple strategic programs around data as a key asset driving products, platforms, architecture and organization
• Uses extensive technical expertise to build case for change in technology architecture strategy
• Work directly with business users to translate requirements into solutions and ultimately develop and deploy cutting-edge solutions that leverage cloud based data architectures
• Rapidly Prototype working models and solutions to obtain business alignment on approach
• Owns overall solution architecture on a projects including direction, principles, various levels of abstraction, and current state
• Coordinates technical kick-off sessions by providing detailed product architecture overviews and development plans

Skills:

• Minimum of ten years in working with Enterprise Data Warehouse technologies including Multi-Dimensional Data Modeling, Data Architectures or other work related to the construction of enterprise data assets
• Solid understanding and demonstrable implementation experience of cloud data platform technologies (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services) and data lakes
• Deep technical experience in one or more of the following areas: Database architecture, Big Data, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, No-SQL databases, Advanced Analytics, Data Mining, ETL
• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• A strong understanding of data profiling and data cleansing techniques
• Proven track record driving rapid prototyping and designs
• Strong programming background. Experience with and the ability to troubleshoot and tune relevant programming languages like SQL, Python, Java/Scala/Ruby, R, PIG Latin, HiveQL & MapReduce
• Must be able to visualize, analyze, communicate and solve complex problems, and make disciplined decisions based on available information
• Takes ownership of problems and proactively resolves technical problems, ensuring that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements and aligns with the vision, mission, objectives, strategy of the team
• Familiar with architectural frameworks/methodologies such as TOGAF
• Highly motivated, goal driven, innovative, curious and open minded, Fun to work with, team player
• Ability to spend extended periods of time on computer equipment and/or in meeting/classroom environments
• Must be able to speak and listen clearly on telephone
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
