Ultrasound Technologist - 13-Week Travel Assignment

Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Brooklyn, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 37 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing and assisting in ultrasound examinations, providing technical support to the Radiologist, and maintaining ultrasound equipment. Key responsibilities include: Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound procedures following departmental protocols. Operate, adjust, and maintain ultrasound equipment while ensuring safety precautions. Set up, clean, and perform minor adjustments to equipment. Ensure adequate supplies are available for operations. Assist in the orientation and mentoring of new ultrasound personnel. Capture and transfer images to PACS and physicians' workstations. Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling exams, and coordinating transportation. Perform other duties as required. Required qualifications: Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of office and administrative practices. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion. Preferred qualifications: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
