Cable TechnicianAnistar is seeking Cable Technicians for a long term opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables.The ideal candidate will under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset while working as a team player. Candidates will gain experience in running, testing, and terminating low voltage equipment for large data center projects.Job Responsibilities:Pulling and routing CAT5e or CAT6 cable in a new construction environmentPulling and installation of fiber optic cablesInstalling support structures (ladder rack, fiber tray, basket tray)Installation of Hot Aisle Containment systems (HACs)Must be comfortable working from scissor/boom liftsThe ideal candidate will possess the following:1+ years' experience installing basket tray and cable trayOwnership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.Must be open to working Monday-Saturday up to 60 hours per weekFamiliarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.At Anistar Technologies, we connect individuals from a variety of industries with respected companies, both nationally and internationally.
