Operations Manager

What You’ll Do Lead and oversee daily warehouse and distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment Drive operational excellence through KPI management, productivity improvements, and process optimization Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, safety standards, and operating procedures Develop, coach, and lead warehouse supervisors, leads, coordinators, and warehouse associates Manage labor planning, staffing, scheduling, and workflow prioritization Monitor inventory accuracy and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies Partner with transportation, sales, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure excellent customer service Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction Maintain high standards of warehouse organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance Support onboarding, performance management, employee development, and corrective action processes Analyze operational data and reporting to identify trends and improve overall performance Ensure outbound and inbound freight operations meet customer expectations and delivery timelines Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and operational leadership experience 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution leadership experience Prior experience leading supervisors and large hourly teams preferred Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping/receiving, and safety compliance Experience with WMS, ERP, SAP, or related operational systems Proven ability to drive performance, accountability, and process improvement Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and coaching skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Forklift/PIV experience or certification preferred At PrimeSource, our BluePrint values guide everything we do: Care – We support our people, customers, and communities Winning Together – We collaborate to achieve success as one team Working Hard – We are committed to delivering results Working Smart – We continuously improve and innovate Working Fast – We move with urgency and purpose We are looking for leaders who embody these values and help us continue to build tomorrow.
