The Tides Estate is a premier, high-end upscale catering and events venue located in North Haledon, New Jersey. Renowned for our stunning architecture, pristine grounds, and grand ballrooms, we specialize in hosting elegant weddings, galas, and high-profile social events. We are seeking an elite, results-driven Catering Sales Manager to join our team and drive sales for our sophisticated clientele.
Job Summary:
The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for booking, planning, and executing high-level upscale social events and weddings. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the luxury events market, an established network of clients, and a proven track record of closing high-value event packages. You will guide clients through the entire sales lifecycle, from the initial tour to menu selection and contract finalization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming leads and proactively solicit new social and wedding catering business.
- Conduct venue tours and presentations for prospective clients, showcase packaging, and negotiating contracts.
- Oversee event details including menu structure, overall selections, pricing, and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of sales pipelines, client communications, and booking schedules.
- Meet and exceed established monthly and annual sales goals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of verified sales experience in an upscale, high-volume catering venue.
- Event Scope: Proven experience managing and selling large-scale social events ranging from 200 to 500+ guests.
- Specialization: Strong expertise in the luxury wedding market and high-end social celebrations is highly preferred.
- Book of Business: Must possess an active, strong client list and industry network.
- References: High-level professional references from the upscale hospitality industry are strictly required.
- Schedule: Must have flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays based on event schedules and client availability.
