Material Handler

Warehouse Material HandlerResponsible for the safe and efficient movement, handling, and storage of materials within the warehouse or distribution center. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.Job Responsibilities:Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities against purchase orders and identifying any discrepancies or damages.Operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling, organization, and accessibility.Pick and stage materials for outbound shipments according to pick lists, ensuring accuracy and preparing items for loading.Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or other transport vehicles, adhering to safety protocols and proper load securement techniques.Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities to maintain accurate inventory records.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies.Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors or management.Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or material damage immediately.Job Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment is a plus (certification may be required).Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Basic math and reading comprehension skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.At HYVE Solutions, we believe employees are our greatest asset and we empower them to make a difference in our business.
