Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified OB Surgical Technologist for a night shift Labor & Delivery position at a short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring NBSTSA CST certification and at least 1 year of experience. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience required BLS certification required NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission, if applicable Proficiency in aseptic technique, equipment documentation, isolation precautions/PPE, sharps safety, specimen handling/labeling, and universal protocol (time out) procedures Responsibilities Labor & Delivery unit within Surgical Services at a short-term acute care teaching hospital Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 Every other weekend required Block scheduling required 1:1 patient ratio No floating between units and no on-call requirements Epic charting system preferred Provide surgical technologist support for labor and delivery cases Scrub color is any color for general units; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided Located at a facility with 536 total staff beds Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer, as post-offer requests may not be granted Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required, which may include Charge RNs/Leads Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles Former Providence perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel employee Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a lower bill rate Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location First-time travelers will be considered for this position Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-751645 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
