RN / Operating Room Circulator (OR) - Days

Job Description:

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for patient care in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN works with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other personnel to provide patient care according to relevant standards, physician orders, and hospital policies.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring supplies and timeliness of cases
• Communicating with families
• Updating physician preference cards
• Scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases
• Supervising personnel delivering patient care

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
• 2+ years experience with strength in Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, Urology
• Cerner experience required
• CNOR preferred
