Early Childhood - Teacher Assistant/Aide

About This Role The Teacher Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Teachers and the Director in creating a nurturing and secure environment for the children, while also contributing to the development of a high-quality educational program. What You'll Do Engage children in curricula activities and promote participation. Assist in maintaining a clean, well-organized, and fully stocked classroom environment. Establish and maintain open communication with parents through regular updates and progress reports. Model good hygiene and self-help skills. Streamline the daily transition process from home to child care center. Adhere to all center policies and state regulations. Develop a personal professional growth plan to ensure continuous improvement. Implement lesson plans and maintain classroom schedules as directed by the Teacher. Promote social, emotional, and intellectual growth and development in each child. Evaluate and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times. Requirements An understanding of child development. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. Ability to work well with others. High energy. Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
