About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in high acuity postpartum care License: Compact license required Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: High-risk obstetric care experience Experience with Magnesium sulfate therapy and EPIC Foley catheter management experience Experience managing postpartum hemorrhage Ability to handle four couplets of care Description: This position involves caring for postpartum patients following delivery. You will work in a high-volume facility with a diverse patient population. Experience in high-risk obstetric care is required. Candidates must have familiarity with postpartum treatments and complications. Skills in managing substances withdrawal are preferred. Travelers may float to other facilities for assignments as needed. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary support team. Your role will include patient assessment and management. You will document all patient interactions in the electronic health record system. Flexibility to work weekends is necessary as you are required to cover six weekend days during the contract. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
