Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, with a Master’s degree preferred, and a CPA is strongly preferred. A minimum of 5-8 years of senior financial leadership experience within nonprofit healthcare or FQHC environments is required, with a strong expertise in nonprofit accounting, grant compliance, and federal reporting. The role demands experience in managing revenue cycle operations and payer reimbursement, as well as a proven track record of working closely with executive leadership and boards. The ideal candidate will be adept at driving financial strategy, have a deep understanding of the complex nonprofit healthcare model, and be prepared for hands-on involvement with various funding mechanisms.
