Tax Senior | Midtown Manhattan (Hybrid) | $130K to $150K + Bonus A well established, family owned public accounting firm in Midtown Manhattan (steps from Times Square and Bryant Park) is looking to add a Tax Senior to its close knit team. With just 25 people, this is a firm where you are a name, not a number, and where your growth is actually a priority. If you are tired of the grind at a large firm and want real work/life balance without sacrificing compensation or career trajectory, this one is worth a look. What makes this role different Genuine flexibility. You work from home most of the year. During busy season you are in the office just 2 days a week, and in the off season you are fully remote. Compensation that respects your expertise. Base salary of $130,000 to $150,000, plus bonuses and a strong benefits package. A real path forward. What you will be doing Preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Researching tax issues and staying current on changing regulations. Working directly with clients and partners (no layers of bureaucracy between you and the people making decisions). Mentoring junior staff as you grow into a leadership role. What we are looking for Three or more years of tax experience in public accounting. CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
