Project Manager - Low Voltage Cabling

Job Summary The Low Voltage Project Manager is the overall manager for assigned project(s). The Project Manager ensures that all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed and managed in accordance with the Company's requirements, including but not limited to safety, quality, management and financial performance requirements. All aspects of the assigned project(s) must be carried out as efficiently as possible with respect to staffing, materials management, financial management, customer care and customer delivery goals. Job Duties and Responsibilities The Low Voltage Project Manager will manage the workload distribution and monitor the customer delivery and job installation progress. The Security Systems Project Manager will plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals. The Low Voltage Project Manager reviews all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including but not limited to the preparation of invoices, customer collections and periodic financial reporting to the customer and management. The Low Voltage Project Manager will manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work. The Low Voltage Project Manager will participate in and/or facilitate the bid process. The Low Voltage Project Manager acts as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s). The Low Voltage Project Manager will create, develop and implement account process improvement(s). Other responsibilities as assigned. Minimum USD $100,000.00 per year. Maximum USD $110,000.00 per year. Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalency (Bachelor's degree preferred). Minimum five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience. Minimum five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or related technical or construction field. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project). Experience in customer interface, acting as liaison between the customer and the Company. Meeting minimum company driving standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to define a project, create a scope of work, develop detailed tasks and manage to completion and customer turnover. High skill level interpreting blueprints, specifications, reporting and quality requirements. Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to give presentations. Proficiency with trade tools: punch tool with 110 and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt‑ohmmeter, 4‑pair continuity tester, and 5‑gang punch tool. Ability to secure and maintain a Company‑sponsored American Express card. Willingness and ability to travel within branch or regional territory as needed. Capability to learn and use the Company’s and customers’ project management systems. Physical and Mental Requirements Self‑motivated, positive approach, professional, and able to lead others to implement project process improvements. Proven problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills. High skill level interpreting blueprints and project documents. Ability to travel within branch or regional territory as required. Ability to learn company and customer project management systems.
