Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio during night shift hours
• Float to other units as required based on staffing and census needs
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of clinical care
• Complete required orientation modules and compliance activities, including Relias EKG testing, within designated timeframes
• Maintain AHA BLS certification throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state equivalent
• AHA BLS certification required — AHA is the only accepted certifying body; all other forms will not meet compliance requirements
• Relias EKG testing must be completed within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure of both attempts results in automatic cancellation
• Drug test must be completed within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date; candidates must be available for a potential second lab visit if needed
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC guidelines for fit testing; refusal may result in cancellation
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility's service area to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Comfort with floating to multiple units within a hospital system
• Experience supporting nursing students or participating in clinical education programs
