Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP EAM Project Manager / Engagement Manager to lead large-scale SAP transformation programs for strategic clients. This role requires a strong combination of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) expertise, program leadership, financial management, and executive stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record delivering complex SAP programs valued at $10M-$15M+ , managing client relationships, driving governance, and leading transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.

This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, lead steering committee discussions, oversee project financials, manage contractual commitments, and ensure successful business outcomes through SAP-enabled transformation programs.

Project Managers are responsible for overseeing the project/engagement/contract/activity on a daily basis and are responsible for delivering high-quality results within the identified objectives and constraints, ensuring the effective use of the allocated resources. They are responsible for risk and issue management, project/engagement communication and stakeholder management. Project managers perform the activities of planning, organising, securing, monitoring and managing the resources and work necessary to deliver specific project goals and objectives in an effective and efficient way. Responsible for leading either a large contractorengagement or a definable segment of a very large and complex contractorengagement. Clients may be external or internal. PM are responsible for the translation of the clients complex business requirements into formal agreements. For these, PM establish specific solutions, applications or processes which ultimately culminate in customer acceptance of the results. This includes working with client team members and executives to identify business requirements and subsequently working with, and leading others, in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing and closing the clients solution. PM are responsible for a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, and final delivery.

Your Role

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale SAP transformation programs and strategic client engagements valued at $10M-$15M+ .
• Establish and manage program governance, delivery frameworks, project plans, milestones, resource strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
• Own project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, profitability, margin optimization, and financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary client-facing leader, building trusted relationships with executives, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Lead executive governance meetings, steering committees, status reviews, and CXO-level presentations.
• Drive successful project execution while ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business objectives.
• Manage Statements of Work (SOWs), Change Requests (CRs), contract compliance, funding approvals, and commercial governance.
• Develop business cases, investment proposals, and executive presentations to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead SAP EAM and SAP S/4HANA Asset Management transformation initiatives across asset-intensive industries.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to design and deliver enterprise asset management solutions that drive operational excellence and business value.
• Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership in issue resolution, escalation management, organizational change, and transformation adoption activities.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of project and program management experience, including leadership of complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale SAP or ERP programs with budgets exceeding $10M-$15M .
• Proven experience serving as an Engagement Manager, Program Manager, or Delivery Lead within consulting or professional services environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) , SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) , and SAP S/4HANA EAM .
• Deep understanding of asset management processes, maintenance operations, reliability programs, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated success managing project financials, revenue forecasting, profitability, budgeting, and cost control.
• Extensive experience with SOW development, contract management, change control processes, and Change Request (CR) governance.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to lead CXO, Steering Committee, and executive stakeholder discussions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading global delivery teams, matrix organizations, and distributed project teams.
• Strong business and technology acumen with the ability to align transformation initiatives to business outcomes.
• Experience with SAP integrations and complementary modules such as SAP MM, FICO, Project Systems (PS), and related SAP solutions preferred.
• Experience leading SAP S/4HANA transformation, ERP modernization, and digital transformation programs preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent project management certifications preferred.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Utilities, Energy, Oil & Gas, Transportation, Aerospace & Defense, or other asset-intensive industries preferred.
• Demonstrated strengths in financial management, client relationship management, strategic planning, risk management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and executive communication.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $98,497 - $281,842

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
