Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Virginia

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shifts with day and night options available; staffing includes charge nurse support with approximately 70 nursing staff members across the department

Highlights:

• 16-bed Labor, Delivery, and Recovery unit with 3 operating rooms, 3 triage rooms, and 3 recovery rooms
• AWHONN staffing ratios maintained with patient assignments ranging from 1:1 to 3:1 based on acuity
• Advanced maternal care technology including Novii monitors, iMobile systems, headsets, pass-through skin-to-skin cesarean drapes, deep soaker tubs, light therapy, and aromatherapy
• EMR systems: CPN and Meditech
• 24/7 in-house hospitalist, midwife, anesthesia, and neonatologist support
• Award-winning facility recognized by Healthgrades for Labor and Delivery Excellence and among the Top 10% of hospitals evaluated for Labor and Delivery nationally

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification (within previous 2 years)
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred: Experience at facilities with 3,000+ births annually
• Preferred: Patient-centered care experience with diverse populations
