Licensure: Active RN and ARNP license in Iowa, Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner

Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred in behavioral health or related fields

What You'll Do

• Provide independent nursing interventions focusing on mental health promotion and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Diagnose, prescribe medications, and implement non-pharmacological treatment plans
• Synthesize patient data to make informed clinical decisions
• Educate patients and monitor medication and lab results
• Document services accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain compliance with professional standards, policies, and legal requirements

What You Need

• Valid Iowa RN and ARNP licenses
• Certification as a Clinical Specialist/NP by ANCC or accepted certifying body
• Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of mental health treatment and psychotropic medications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
