Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 patient care in an 8-room Operating Room environment across multiple surgical service lines
- Perform and assist with a variety of surgical procedures including Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Cardiac cases
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, CSTs, and OR staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical care
- Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
- Participate in on-call rotation, including first, second, and third call coverage across weekdays and weekends on an 8-week rotating cycle, with a required 30-minute response time
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado or compact eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to function across multiple surgical service lines
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Transplant and/or spine surgical experience
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented OR environment
- Work alongside experienced service line leaders in a well-supported OR unit equipped with all types of surgical equipment including Belmont rapid infusion technology
