EPA - Environmental Protection Agency
Required Equivalent Experience - Certification is required in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency 40CFR, Part 82, Subpart F.
Required Education
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical drawing, physics, shop courses, refrigeration, and HVAC components and systems acquired through at least 4 years experience, directly in the HVACR trade OR an Associates degree in Applied Science HVACR Technology. Any current Skills Trades Refrigeration employee hired before 9/6/17 will be grandfathered and would not need the required education.
