Investment Operations Manager

Duties and Responsibilities Core Operations & Oversight Manage daily investment operations, including trade processing, reconciliations (holdings, cash, confirmations), failed trade monitoring, cash management, and cash flow reporting. Oversee daily workflows such as portal reviews, basket/burst files, NAV oversight, FX review, corporate actions, and end-of-day system handshakes. Serve as the primary owner of operational exception identification, escalation, and resolution. Vendor, Custody & International Operations Manage relationships with custodians, administrators, and model delivery platforms; monitor service levels and escalate issues as needed. Support soft dollar oversight, vendor governance, and periodic vendor reviews. Execute and enhance operations across domestic and international markets, including FX processing, CSDR compliance, corporate actions, private investments, and coordination with global custodians. Product Launches & Strategic Initiatives Support ETF launches, SMA onboarding, discretionary model trading operations, and other new product initiatives. Develop and document operational processes and contribute to evaluating and implementing core operations systems. Process Improvement & Automation Lead efforts to streamline, automate, and strengthen operational workflows, controls, and reporting. Partner with the Senior Director of Investment Operations to execute the team's automation roadmap and maintain operational documentation. Reporting & Regulatory Support Support quarterly client reporting, marketing materials, GIPS composites, performance reporting, platform updates, and regulatory filings (including 15c renewals). Provide operational data, quality review, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Coverage Partner with compliance, legal, finance, and portfolio management teams to ensure regulatory and policy alignment. Support ad hoc projects and reporting requests while providing backup coverage across performance reporting, client operations, and compliance functions. Promote operational resilience through process documentation, cross-training, and shared team expertise. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in investment operations, asset management, or related financial services roles, with demonstrated ownership of core operational functions Ability to work well independently, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic and changing environment Bachelor's degree required; degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred Direct experience with multi-custodian reconciliation, trade operations, and exception management required Experience working within the Bloomberg/Bloomberg AIM platform preferred Experience with international securities operations, FX processing, and corporate action management preferred Familiarity with investment operations systems and platforms (e.g., portfolio management systems, custodian portals, order management systems) required; experience with systems assessment or transition a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal margin for error Passion for and commitment to Eventide’s mission and investment philosophy; experience in values-based investments or organizations preferred Demonstrate the core values of Eventide in execution of duties and decision-making Ability to work within compliance of Eventide’s Code of Ethics Department: Investment Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Position reports to: Senior Director of Investment Operations and Performance Reporting Position supervises: No one Compensation Range: The pay range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000 annually. This range represents the base salary the company reasonably expects to pay for this role, depending on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. This position is also eligible for generous discretionary bonuses and other forms of compensation. Actual compensation paid may vary based on geographical location and other business considerations.
