Job Description

JSG is hiring a CNC Machinist - 2nd shift in Melbourne, FL! Pay rate: $25-$35 DOE. Skills: 3-5 years of machining experience. Demonstrate good print reading skills and an understanding of GD&T. Ability to read and write basic G & M codes, tool offsets and work offsets, spindle speeds and feed rates. Must be able to use calipers and micrometers and other measuring equipment. Ability to produce parts in Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium. Producing small machine parts using machine controls to program, setup and operate CNC mills. Maintaining high quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and needed supplies. Reduce cost and improve on time delivery for existing products and work with the quality department to support the Quality System collaborate with your supervisor and other departments and co-workers shorten cycle time or improve the process. Plan the work day by studying work orders, drawing specifications, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances. Adhering to procedures in accordance with the ISO and AS9100 Quality Systems. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions and reporting such irregularities for repairs.
