As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and restricted-access points, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site procedures; maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, timely reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
