Job Overview Portillo’s is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve its classic menu items. The Cook works in a fast‑paced kitchen, ensuring quality, sanitation and a clean station while collaborating with team members to meet customer demand. Responsibilities Prepare all classic menu items to order, including Italian Beef, burgers, hot dogs, fries and other entrees. Prepare fresh vegetables, sauces and other ingredients according to provided recipes and quality standards. Maintain a spotless workstation and adhere to sanitation and food safety protocols. Work as a team player to help and serve guests and fellow team members. Handle high‑volume periods with a sense of urgency, keeping lines moving efficiently. Maintain portion control and monitor food levels throughout the shift. Compensation Base pay: $15.50 per hour.Additional pay: $2 per hour for all hours worked after 11pm, $2 per hour when working outside in temperatures below 33°F, and $3 per hour for holidays (Easter, Memorial Day, July4, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day). Daily pay is available.
