We are hiring Production Leads to help oversee daily production activities, support employees, and ensure production, quality, and safety standards are met throughout the busy pomegranate season. Job Details
Location: Del Rey, CA

Position: Production Lead

Pay: $17.00 $19.00 per hour

Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift

Employment Type: Seasonal

Overtime: Required as needed

Weekends: Required

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D

Job Responsibilities

• Assist supervisors with overseeing daily production activities and employees
• Provide direction, guidance, and support to production team members
• Help assign employees to workstations and production tasks
• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and work performance
• Ensure production goals and daily targets are met
• Monitor employees to ensure company safety, quality, and production procedures are followed
• Assist with training and onboarding new employees
• Communicate production instructions, updates, and expectations to employees
• Monitor product quality and report issues to supervisors
• Identify production delays, equipment issues, or staffing concerns and communicate them to management
• Help maintain an efficient workflow throughout the production area
• Assist with resolving employee questions and basic workplace concerns
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation as required
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, production employees, warehouse, quality, and maintenance teams
• Assist with enforcing company policies and procedures
• Perform general production duties as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous lead, team lead, supervisor, production, warehouse, manufacturing, or food processing experience is preferred
• Previous leadership or employee training experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide direction and effectively communicate with a diverse workforce
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to identify and resolve basic production issues
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow and enforce safety, quality, and production procedures
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Ability to complete production records and documentation accurately
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
