Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in NICU to provide specialized neonatal patient care. The role involves supporting critically ill newborns in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced neonatal care and monitor vital signs of fragile infants.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform technical procedures including ventilator management and IV placements.
• Document patient observations and clinical interventions accurately.
• Educate parents and families on neonatal care needs and procedures.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA RN license with Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
• Possess at least 2 years of NICU experience in a hospital setting.
• Maintain current AHA or ARC certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal clinical procedures and equipment.
• Be willing to work rotating night shifts, including 3x12-hour shifts.
• Have excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
