Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Shifts Available

Our organization is currently in search of skilled Registered Nurses for per diem roles in hospitals located in Halifax, VA. Applicants should have a minimum of two years of recent nursing experience within the last four years in one or more of the following areas:

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Additionally, candidates must have received the COVID-19 vaccination or possess an approved medical or religious exemption. Further credentials may be necessary based on the specialty and facility assignment.

• Provide safe and high-quality patient care in acute care hospital environments.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and their responses to treatments.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as per physician directives.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment as required by the unit.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Exhibit flexibility and professionalism while adapting to various hospital settings.
