Talent Corps is seeking dependable and hardworking Equipment Operator to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This position supports skilled trades on active job sites and plays a key role in keeping projects running safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, sweepers, graders, rollers, backhoes, and other construction machinery.
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and material handling tasks according to project specifications.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete pre-trip and post-trip reports.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, and safety concerns.
- Work safely around underground utilities, structures, traffic, and other personnel.
- Assist with general labor duties when equipment operation is not required.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure proper care of assigned machinery.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, foremen, flaggers, and other crew members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and grade stakes is an asset.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed.
- Must have OSHA10
- Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Test.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Some weekends or overtime as needed
