The Production Assembler plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the manufacture of high-quality products. Responsible for executing assembly tasks according to the work instructions, this role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards. The Production Assembler must achieve set production goals, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and leverage Lean manufacturing tools to enhance efficiency.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30PM Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30PM

Core functions include following established work instructions to properly assemble products and/or different parts of products, achieving established goals or deadlines set for specific work areas, operating required equipment per safety guidelines, completing all required paperwork and/or data entry, attendance and dependability, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred, no required licenses, ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence, ability to perform basic math, ability to read and interpret tape measurements accurately, none for travel, and competencies such as adapting to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, changes approach or method to best fit the situation, able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, responding promptly to customer needs, follows instructions, responds to management direction, takes responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments, commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, observes safety and security procedures, balances team and individual responsibilities, speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listens and gets clarification, responds well to questions, demonstrates group presentation skills, participates in meetings, individual contributor: working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.

Physical requirements include medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions, visual acuity to perform an activity such as operating machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach, performing mechanical or skilled trades' tasks of a non-repetitive nature such as carpenters, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc., subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production-based environment.
