Job Title: Registered Nurse – Oncology
Location: Tarzana, CA
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: $50.00 – $58.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Oncology to provide high-quality outpatient oncology nursing care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional oncology services.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinical setting.

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions while developing individualized care plans.

• Administer chemotherapy, medications, and other prescribed treatments according to established protocols.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

• Float to other oncology clinics as needed while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient oncology nursing experience.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC).

• Current ONS/ONCC certification.

• Active California RN license at the time of submission.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system.

• Previous experience in an outpatient oncology clinic.
