Administrative Operations Specialist – Foot-in-the-Door State Government Opportunity Pay Rate: $25 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Assignment Length: Temporary (with possibility of extension) We have an immediate opening for an Administrative Operations Specialist for an office with a tax focus in Augusta. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience with a State of Maine department while building skills that can open doors to future government opportunities. This position pays $25 per hour and is a temporary assignment with the potential for extension . Strong spreadsheet, administrative, and communication skills will help you succeed in this position. Typical daily duties: Contact taxpayers by phone and in writing to obtain or clarify information Discuss and explain tax forms, policies, and procedures with taxpayers Review tax returns, applications, and records for completeness and accuracy Maintain detailed records and update information using spreadsheets and other computer systems Provide administrative support related to tax documentation and compliance processes What we're looking for: Strong administrative and customer service experience Proficiency with spreadsheets and general computer applications Ability to review and discuss tax-related documents with professionalism and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
