Sanimax is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in our South St. Paul location. Schedule is Monday-Friday 2pm to 10:30pm.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing production operations by empowering and motivating employees to function as a team in the areas of receiving, unloading and processing of raw materials to accomplish the company's objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Ensure that safety initiatives and programs as directed by the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator are being carried out
  
• Maintain a highly trained and motivated work force
  
• Complete individual performance evaluations
  
• Ensure that all equipment including the boilers, air scrubbers and other process equipment is operated in an efficient manner
  
• Generate an annual operations budget for all production labor
  
• Ensure that the fleet, processing facilities, and building and grounds are maintained in a manner which meets all company and government safety and environmental requirements
  
• In coordination with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections get completed as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school education or equivalent is required. Preferred Technical or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
  
• Previous experience in managing and supervising a production team in a manufacturing and continuous process environment
