Orbital Analyst – Aurora, CO Location: Aurora, CO Job Id: 249 Openings: 1 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform orbit determination, ephemeris generation, and orbital position uncertainty estimates. Generate simulations to validate accuracy of various orbital simulations and orbit determination techniques. Develop in Python and Shell Scripting. Contribute to development of new and improved mission capabilities. Engage customers for product demonstrations and analysis products and effectively communicate results. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI and SCI access. Demonstrated experience with orbit determination and astrodynamics techniques. Familiarity with standard astrodynamics tools including STK/Astrogator and/or MATLAB. Experience with Linux operating system. Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong organization, decision‑making, and verbal and written communication skills. High level of self‑initiative and self‑motivation, able to work under minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems. Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $78,853 – $236,579 Benefits include company equity, retirement plan, company-paid health care benefits, flexible paid time off policy, and opportunities for raise and bonus during the year.
