About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years in the field License: ARRT N (Nuclear), BLS Certifications: CNMT, NMTCB Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC documentation system - Ability to float to other units as required Description: Shifts are days, five days a week. Float is required to different locations as needed. Medication system in use is Omnicell. The documentation system used is EPIC. Staff must have at least one year of experience. Responsibilities include performing various nuclear medicine procedures and technical tasks. Required certifications include ARRT N and BLS. Staff will float only to units where they have demonstrated and documented competencies. Scrubs required are hunter green. Daily patient census is approximately 90, with an average of five visits per day. The unit has one room and 109 beds available. Patient age groups treated include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes services from radiology, pharmacy, and transportation. Travelers must comply with floating requirements. EMR experience is mandatory for successful candidates. Staff are expected to adhere to all safety and handling procedures for radioactive materials.
