Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 - $25 / hour*

What You'll Be Doing as a Maintenance Worker:

• Performed interior and exterior painting, repairs, and touch-ups to maintain the hotel's appearance and standards

• Shampooed and deep-cleaned carpets in guest rooms and common areas

• Cleaned and maintained parking lots, walkways, and exterior hotel grounds

• Cleaned, repaired, and maintained bathroom grout, tile surfaces, and fixtures

• Performed basic air conditioning (A/C) maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting

• Repaired and maintained hotel furniture, including minor repairs and adjustments

• Conducted general preventive maintenance and repair work throughout the hotel property

• Responded promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff, ensuring timely resolution of issues

• Ensured a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests by maintaining hotel facilities and equipment

• Followed safety procedures and maintenance standards while completing daily tasks and repair activities

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• The ideal candidate should be physically dexterous

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as the ability to identify safety risks, is also important

• Working as a hotel/motel maintenance worker requires exceptional organizational skills. Moreover, a solid understanding of troubleshooting maintenance equipment is a plus

• Ensuring that the safety of guests and workers remains paramount is also important in this position

• In particular, a hotel/motel maintenance worker needs to possess mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and great attention to detail
